Sara moved to her new home at 8 weeks of age. A family from Iceland, but living in Denmark, had planned to bring two mastiff to Iceland, when they were returning in a couple of years. There are no mastiffs at Iceland at the moment. Sara grew up in the middle of the family and got two human baby brothers and sisters. Unfortunately the babybrother was allergic and Sara had to be removed. The flight ticket to Iceland was payed, but no way, she went home.
She fit in among the other mastiffs immidiately - I believe she knew, she was home again. Much harder it was for the family, they really loved her.
Sara has done well in the showring. She is a beautiful, big and lovely bitch. Has only been shown a few times but done very well and obtained her championship at ease. She went Danish champion at The Danish Mastiff Club Show 2001 and went best bitch at the show.
Since then she also got her Norweigen champion title and has more BOS and BIS at special clubshows under special judges.
She is very clever at obedience training at spring the full height with ease. She is very athletic. Her hips and elbows are x-rayed af clear.
She has had two litters of 4 and 2 puppies. From the first litter in october 2001 we kept Saco.
Sara is now retired from breeding and almost from the showring. Her daughter is taking over.
Sara got 9 good years before she as an old, tired dog slept peacefully and never woke up.
