Hermes - BIS Baby - of all breeds - and there were a lot of babies. Thank you to Mona that showed him.
Hermes and Holly made new friends and Hermes wanted to be a lap dog, but his legs were to short.....

Sanne gave birth to 5 lovely puppies on 31.08.2014. The mom and 3 girls and 2 boys are doing very well. Sanne is a perfect mother. More pictures at Sannes puppies, that will be updated every week. |

Junior is the proud father of 4 beautiful puppies in Germany. The mother is Emperor Lake Cameron "Cira". The puppies were born on 13.08.2014 - 2 boys and 2 girls. One day old at the picture More pictures and info at kennel Of Sheeplake. |
Life is given - life is taken. During the summer we have had the great sorrow to lose two of our mastiffs. Jackson was 9 years old and was physically fit as a young dog. Moved still with ease, but unfortunately he got a blood clot in the lung which subsequently gave him trouble breathing. He has had a long, good life and given us some great puppies, so he lives on in subsequent generations. While we mourn, we can be pleased that some of his sons now doing really well at shows.
It's hard to lose an old dog, but quite terrible to have to say goodbye to a young dog who has life ahead of him. We have lost Bobby receiving an infection of one forepaw and despite intensive treatment was not possible to get the infection under control. The only way to save him was amputation of the leg, so there was no way around it. During the four days we had to realize that the battle was lost. We miss him absolutely terrible and is therefore particularly pleased to Sanne got some nice puppies, so little of him still live on with us.
Jackson and Bobby, you will never be forgotten and always have your special place in our hearts.

A fantastic trip to Helsinki, Finland. On 08.august the mastiffs were judged by Claudio De Giuliani, Italy.

Relaxation on the ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm on top of a busy couple of days. Augusta surprised us by being able to remember how to use a dog toilet on the ferry.

Thelma 8 year today. She is a grand old lady. Beautiful with the silver grey at her face and feet. She is living the good life as a veteran and is happy girl that enjoy the summer and sun.

A late update from shows at DKK Vejen and Neumünster.
From Norway Lexus visited with her owner / breeder to attend the double international DKK show in Vejen. Lexus is a 2 year, huge, beautiful apricot bitch. Her mother (Hugedogge Patricia) is a littersister to Thelma, the mother to Augusta.
Lexus was shown in Champion class and got exc1, R.CACIB and exc2 RCAC the other day. It was fun to see the two cousins together in champion class. Congratulation to Marzenna and thank you for a lovely visit.

Yeti's puppies have opened their eyes and run around in the whelpingbox. They start to play with each other.
Yeti is still the superb mom, spending most of her time with the puppies.
Unfortunately we lost the little apricot boy due to aspiration of milk to his lung. It is what can happen but very sad and a worst-case message having to give his new family.

She gave birth to the first two puppies without problems - but suddenly we had a life threatening situation and ended up with an operation and the last puppy was born. Fortunalety he survived and so did Yeti.
Now, one week later we are happy to tell that mother and puppies are doing very well. Yeti is a fantastic mother as she was with her first litter.

8 mastiff entered and lot of time for social relations and play. The dogs enjoyed it and so did we.
The small shows we use to socialize the dogs and for training. At the Picture Enzo is sitting on Bailey and Eddie is trying to figure out that Bailey also is a boy ... Hudogge Enzo, Eddie og Emma ( Uffe x Sanne) was in junior class. Hugedogge Dion (Junior x Sanne) won the intermediate class. Hugedogge Casper (Jackson x Yeti) "Bailey" won the open class. Laura placed 2nd in juniorhandling with Dion and Claus placed 4th in the best couple competition - with Eddie and Emma - 9 month and not easy to handle together :) Congratulations to both of you.

Last week we went to England, where for the first time to participate in the great Crufts show.
In fact, the first time that a mastiff from Denmark was entered.
Augusta did the trip really well and we were very happy that she also got placed at Crufts.. She was res.vinder. As usual, it was Mona who showed her in the best way. Thank you.
We also visited Pam and Mark, kennel Thomaster. They have over the years used our males for breeding and have offspring to Hugedogge Hannibal, Hugedogge Sir Conrad Jr and Hugedogge Quinn. It was exciting to see and revisit all. Thank you to Pam and Mark for a lovely afternoon.
Pam and Mark also had the pleasure that CH Thomaster Black Rose for the second consecutive year won the prestigious title of Crufts winner. Big congratulations and thank you so much for making this trip something we always remember.

Rocky enjoying the spring sunshine. A Little grey on his muzzle, but his coat embers in the sun. We hope he has a good summer ahead of him, but 10 years old age, and we enjoy every day we have together with this dear, old Fellow.

The old ones have a "coat" to keep them warm, and they love to wear it. Above it is Rocky almost 10 year old.
Laika - in loving memory. Laika has left us after more than 10½ year. She has had a good, long, healthy life. We know nothing last forever, but we miss her so much. She will always have her own place in our Hearts. |

06.01.2014: Highlights from the showring 2013 - a fantastic year for us.
At shows at home and abroad , where we have been represented , our breeding achieved amazing results. We can mention :
Jackson's son Bardolynn's Ignacio "Lambiek" won many times BOB in Holland and Belgium.
At shows at home and abroad , where we have been represented , our breeding achieved amazing results. We can mention :
- Augusta og Hugedogge Quinn many times BOB/BOS at shows in Denmark, Germany, Sweden and Norway.
- Hugedogge Quinn became International champion, German champion and Bundessieger 2013.
- Augusta became Danish, Swedish, Norweigen, Nordic Champion, International Champion, Danish Winner 2013 and Herbstsieger 2013
- Junior became German champion (VDH) and German club champion.
- Hugedogge Valentino "Homer" continued his succes from 2012 with more winning BOB. He also got his licens as a therapy dog at nursing homes.
- Hugedogge Casper "Bailey" got his first CAC and Danish Junior Winner 2013.
